We are parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) in Hull

Welcome

We are an independent group of parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) in Hull.
Our aim is to improve services for our children and young people by ensuring that families’ voices are heard by planners and decision-makers.

What we do:

  • Help parents to engage with practitioners across Education, Health and Social Care.
  • Facilitate participation in service delivery.
  • Represent a voice for parent carers at strategic-level meetings.
  • Hold engagement, information and feedback events.
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer support networking in person and online.
  • Host a wide range of workshops and training events.
  • Provide parent carers information about what services are available to them.
  • Signpost parent carers to other agencies and specific services which we do not provide
